I’d never heard of French songwriter and producer Oklou before seeing this video, and now I can’t stop listening to her. I see folks online often misuse the word “ethereal,” but her sound is definitively ethereal. Not since Fantasia 2001 has there been a better match of music and visuals than Oklou performing on an ice rink in knee-high Converse, surrounded by figure skaters.
